Founder of the EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (EVTM) platform and Society. Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (JEVTM).
Prof. Hörer is a clinical expert in endovascular resuscitation, vascular open and endovascular surgery, trauma surgery, and vascular innovation. His research spans hybrid procedures for bleeding control, haemodynamic instability, REBOA, EVTM, and advanced endovascular methods.
Affiliated Researcher in Surgical Science at Örebro University; medical director of the vascular surgery unit and EVTM research group at Örebro University Hospital; principal editor/author of the EVTM and TopStent textbooks.
David T. McGreevy MD, PhD
Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon

Co-founder of the EVTM Society and Senior Editor of the Journal of EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (JEVTM).
Dr. McGreevy focuses on advanced endovascular techniques, trauma and bleeding management, translational innovation, and vascular education. He earned his PhD from Örebro University in 2024 with a dissertation on EVTM in haemodynamic instability.
Member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery guidelines committee for the first European vascular-trauma guidelines; Secretary of the Aortic Trauma Foundation; Chair of EVTM ST.
